Placed at about eighteen degrees of Virgo, in the Saturn-ruled second decan, that sensitivity tends to be channelled into something useful. The interpretive picture is a perceptive, slightly nervous idealist who calms down by making careful, practical sense of what they sense. Astronomically, September 11 puts the Sun near 18° Virgo in most years, inside the second ten-degree slice of the sign, which tradition links with Saturn. From 10 to 19 degrees of Virgo the sub-ruler is Saturn, which also rules Capricorn. Early-to-mid September birthdays therefore combine Virgo's attention to detail with a serious, long-term sense of responsibility. These natives are frequently described as dependable, disciplined and drawn to work that matters over years rather than weeks. They may carry duties others have dropped, without complaining about it. Saturn can also bring self-doubt and a reluctance to celebrate small wins. Allowing progress to count before it is complete often helps this decan enjoy the sturdy structures it is so good at building. ## Birthday number and Life Path for September 11 Born on the 11th, you have a birthday number of 11, and because it is a master number it stays unreduced. The day of birth is a secondary number in numerology, yet master numbers are traditionally given extra weight wherever they appear. Two 1s side by side suggest doubled sensitivity as well as doubled initiative: the 11 is linked with intuition, inspiration and a nervous, creative charge. Those born on this date are often described as idealistic and perceptive, sometimes picking up on things before they can explain why. Grounding routines and trusted company tend to help them carry that intensity comfortably. Add the birth year and the picture shifts again: a September 11 birthday gives Life Path 3 for 1990, 22 for 2000, 5 for 2010 and 6 for 2020. Some birth years on this date reach the master numbers 11 and 22. Read the birthday number as a secondary note beside that main theme. ## Season, Chinese zodiac and famous September 11 birthdays A September birthday arrives at the turn into autumn for the northern hemisphere, a season of new terms and gathering in, and at the start of spring in the southern. Virgo occupies most of the month, with Libra taking over around September 22 or 23, near the equinox. September is month 9 in numerology, the number of completion, compassion and a broad, humanitarian outlook. September 11 is the 254th day of the year (255th in a leap year). Counting forward, the next sign change, into Libra, is usually complete within 12 days, by September 23. By September 11 the Chinese new year is well under way, which means the animal and element are those of the calendar birth year. Among the best-known people with a September 11 birthday are Sung Jae-gi (1967), Ferdinand Marcos (1917) and Franz Beckenbauer (1945). ## Frequently asked questions ### What zodiac sign is September 11?
