In numerology the day gives birthday number 1. The Life Path also uses the birth year. Libra is cardinal and air. ## Key facts | Fact | Value | | --- | --- | | Sun sign | Libra in every year from 1930 to 2030 | | Decan | Libra decan 1 (Venus) | | Sun's position at noon UTC | About 5° Libra | | Libra · element · modality · ruler | Air · Cardinal · Venus | | Birthday number | 28 → 1 | | Life Path by birth year | 1960: 8 · 1970: 9 · 1980: 1 · 1990: 11 · 2000: 3 · 2010: 4 · 2020: 5 | | Chinese zodiac | After Lunar New Year, so the animal is the birth year's own | | Born on this day | Brigitte Bardot (1934), Sheikh Hasina (1947), Georges Clemenceau (1841) | ## Personality of a September 28 birthday Libra is not usually thought of as a solo act, which makes the 28th of September interesting. The Sun at roughly five degrees sits in the doubly Venusian first decan, all charm and partnership, while twenty-eight reduces to 1, the number of independence. Traditionally the blend suggests someone who leads through persuasion, setting the direction while making everyone feel consulted. By noon UTC on September 28, the Sun has normally reached roughly 5° of Libra. That places the date in the Libra decan that astrologers give to Venus, the first of three. Libra's first decan, from about September 23 to October 2, holds Venus as both sign ruler and sub-ruler. This is traditionally the most graceful and relationship-minded part of the sign. Fairness, harmony and aesthetic sense are emphasised, along with a gift for making guests feel welcome. Those born here often weigh every side of a decision, which makes them good mediators and occasionally slow choosers. The doubled Venus influence can also lead to avoiding conflict at the cost of honesty. Growth often arrives with the discovery that a fair outcome sometimes requires an uncomfortable conversation first. ## Numerology of the September 28 birthday A birthday on the 28th reduces as 2 + 8 = 10, then 1 + 0 = 1. The birthday number is 1, but reached by a route that runs through partnership (2) and authority (8). Numerologists often read the 28th as a more cooperative kind of leader than the 1st: independent and ambitious, yet aware that big plans need allies. Those born on this day are frequently described as determined, enterprising and persuasive. As a supporting number, the 28 tends to show in a talent for starting things with others already on board, rather than recruiting help after the fact. Because the year enters the Life Path calculation, the same September 28 birthday leads to different paths across generations, among them 1 for 1980, 11 for 1990, 3 for 2000 and 4 for 2010. Some birth years on this date reach the master number 11. The Life Path calculator does the reduction for any year. ## September 28 in context: the season, Chinese zodiac and famous birthdays A September birthday arrives at the turn into autumn for the northern hemisphere, a season of new terms and gathering in, and at the start of spring in the southern. Virgo occupies most of the month, with Libra taking over around September 22 or 23, near the equinox. September is month 9 in numerology, the number of completion, compassion and a broad, humanitarian outlook. September 28 is the 271st day of the year (272nd in a leap year). In most years Scorpio season is under way by October 24, 26 days after this birthday. Chinese astrology is straightforward for a September 28 birthday: the new year began weeks earlier, so the birth year's own animal applies. September 28 is also the birthday of Brigitte Bardot (1934), Sheikh Hasina (1947) and Georges Clemenceau (1841). ## Frequently asked questions ### What zodiac sign is September 28?
