# Life Path Calculator Widget

The Unified Reading Life Path widget lets visitors calculate a number from their birth date inside your website. Copy the iframe below to embed the working calculator, including its visible Powered by Unified Reading credit.

## Add the calculator to a page

Try the live preview, then copy the HTML into an HTML block on your website. The snippet loads the calculator from unifiedreading.com/embed/life-path. It includes a descriptive iframe title, a responsive width and space for the result. Preview the published page on a narrow screen as well as a desktop before sharing it.

MDN describes an iframe as an embedded browsing context: the calculator is a separate page displayed within yours. This lets the widget keep its own form styling. You do not need to copy the numerology engine, create an API key or send visitors to a separate checkout to calculate their Life Path number.

## The method visitors receive

The widget uses the existing Unified Reading numerology engine. It reduces the birth month, day and year separately, preserving 11, 22 and 33 at each reduction. It then adds those components and reduces the total using the same rule. A final master number remains 11, 22 or 33 instead of becoming 2, 4 or 6.

For a clearly fictional example, 8 January 2000 gives a month value of 1, a day value of 8 and a year value of 2. Their sum is 11, which stays unreduced. The result links to the corresponding Life Path guide. The interpretation is a reflection prompt; the widget does not assess someone’s personality or predict their future.

## Sizing and accessible use

The supplied frame is 600 pixels tall and grows to the width of its container, up to 560 pixels. Keep enough height for the result and the credit link. The calculator uses a labelled date field, a keyboard-accessible button and a live result announcement. MDN recommends an iframe title so assistive technology can identify the embedded content.

The snippet includes lazy loading, which allows the browser to defer loading an offscreen frame. If the preview does not appear in your editor, check whether that editor accepts iframe HTML. You can also open the calculator directly to distinguish an embedding problem from the calculator itself. The readable code remains available if the copy button cannot access the clipboard.

## Birth dates and the visible credit

The iframe loads the calculator page and its assets from Unified Reading. Calculation then happens locally in the visitor’s browser. The widget does not send the entered birth date to an API, put it in a URL or save it in browser storage. It contains no analytics event calls. Your surrounding website remains a separate browsing context.

The Powered by Unified Reading link stays visible below the form and opens the main site in a new tab. Keep the whole frame visible so visitors can identify the tool’s source. The widget offers the Life Path result and its guide link; the wider free preview is available on Unified Reading for anyone who chooses to explore further.
